Simple Stories Little Books

This Saturday afternoon I will be at The Scrapbooking Studio making these little books for a Make-n-Take. They're free! Hope you can come make one! There are two different styles.

First one: Charmed Life

Each page is actually a little pocket with room for pictures and journaling.

The second is this more vintage looking book: These Are The Moments

Little Birthday Book

It's my best friend's birthday this weekend. I whipped up this little book.

It turned out cuter than I hoped! 

I used a little piece of chipboard that had been some packaging.  I cut it into 6 little pieces. I made a binding and put the book together. I wrapped a piece of paper around the binding. Then I decorated the cover and back. I used Maggie Holmes DIY paper from The Scrapbooking Studio.

I used some ephemera that goes with the line to decorate inside.

I journaled little notes and verses on the pages. As you can see with my fingers in the picture, it's not a very big book! I was really happy with it! I hope she likes it!

Valentine Decor

I made this and will be teaching it at The Scrapbooking Studio in Moline on Feb 8th. It was really fun to do! Hope you can come! I have a few seats left!

Sweet Kiss

Don't you love Valentine's Day? I love all the cute pictures and vintage valentines out there!I am making a home decor piece using vintage valentines. Hope to finish and post soon!

Valentine Kids Album

This is the album I made for a class at The Scrapbooking Studio.  

I used white chipboard at 6x6 and the smaller pages are 4x6. I used Basic Grey paper - an older theme, but any pink/red/white paper would work. I got all this at The Scrapbooking Studio in Moline.


I covered the pages and then made little pockets. I used some of Tim Holtz's "On the Edge" dies to make a few and just cut straight across for the others.

Then I used ATC cards and stamped little Valentines. I also used some embellishments from the line.

This is for kids ages 8-16. Hope you can come!

Made it through one of the craziest, funniest, and best Christmas Ever! I will update with a few projects I got done soon! Now I'm getting anxious to make Valentines!
